ROBERT MITRIK Obituary
Age 79, of South Park, on Friday, August 17, 2018. Beloved husband of Rita for 57 years; father of Robert (Yvonne), Renee (Thomas) Skoff, and Chris (Stacy); grandfather of Robert III (Jessica), John, James, Nathaniel, Julia, Thomas, Abigail, Taylor and Ashleigh; great-grandfather of Madeline Noel; brother of Rose Cendroski, Michael, Dale and Jeffrey. Also many nieces and nephews. Bob served in the US Army and was a Chaplains Assistant. He was a devoted husband and family man. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER. Family and friends welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Nativity Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. I am very sorry for your loss. It stinks to lose your Dad. I think of mine all the time. Hang on to your memories.
I will always remember the first time I met your father. It was the evening of your and my first date in high school. After I arrived at your home to pick you up, he took me aside into a room - just the two of us - and he gave me a classic, "What are your intentions with my daughter?" lecture. It was a real eye-opener for me and great advice, as I have asked similar questions of my four daughters' dates over the years.
