My dear friend, Jerry. I was so sorry to learn of your Dad's death. As you know, I got to know him while working for the BSA, and I was always amazed at his tireless energy, and his dedication to and love of Scouting. While he will be sorely missed by all of his friends and family, heaven will be a lot more lively!

Dear Aunt Nell and Family

I was so sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Bill. I was glad I had a chance to talk a bit with him back in April when he came to dads funeral. It is never easy with the passing of a beloved family member and even harder when it happens around the holiday. Our acceptance and peace of mind has to come with knowing that he is no longer suffering. The family has my deepest and most sincere sympathy. Uncle Bill was one-of-a-kind and will truly be missed.

I will miss you and the great memories you revived of working at the USS Homestead Works during our Friday luncheons.
