ELSIE MAHONEY Obituary
Of Bon Air, passed away on May 7, 2013. Beloved wife of Walter D. Mahoney; loving mother of David, Diana, and the late Denise Mahoney; sister of Marilyn Sue Bartel and Max Morehead. Predeceased by eight siblings. Private burial will be held at Scharder Cemetery in Rocky Gap, VA. Arrangements entrusted to JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC. The family has expressed their wish that gestures of sympathy in lieu of flowers be made by charitable donations to the Johns Hopkins University, c/o Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, 100 North Charles St., Suite 436, Baltimore, MD 21201 with a note indicating the donation is in memory of Elise C. Mahoney for the benefit of the Stroke Center.

Have just learned of Carol's passing. Am so sorry. Am remembering our great conversations in the past. It was so good to visit with you, Carol and Diana when you were here for Harry's funeral. I always thought of Carol as a special friend.
