I believe Lindsay was my brothers godfather. I remember their home Dairy Queen in Hyde Park. And the two daughters. I always remember my father told us Lindsay was a real gentleman. He always had a smile I do remember that. He used to buy me books for Christmas was about the American revolution for young people. I still have it and after his death last year I read it again and his memory

I remember all four of you Lynn Betty Patty and Eileen. Lynn and your mom used to give me books for Christmas. I still have the last one he gave me which was a young persons addition of the revolutionary war. Occasionally when I sit in the bookshelf I have thought of your father. Your father and my brother Ross also one father-son bowling contest at the Hyde Park bowling lanes. I believe I have the cut out from the Poughkeepsie Journal

I have many wonderful memories of our Grandpa. He loved being a grandfather and above all, loved his family. He certainly lived life to the fullest, never missing an opportunity to be creative, do something meaningful, or learn something new. His passion for living lives on in all of us. We were so lucky to have a grandfather who made life adventurous. One time when we were young, he made us a real pirate treasure hunt, complete with a beautifully drawn treasure map, x marks the spot, and buried treasure. We will treasure our memories of you, Grandpa, always and forever.
