Raymond Brenneman

Lone Tree - Raymond Brenneman, 75, of Lone Tree, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the new Brennenman Auto Body, 306 West Commercial Street in Lone Tree. Burial will be held at Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation for Raymond will be Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Brenneman Auto Body. The Snyder & Hollenabugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring for the family. Memorials may be left to the Lone Tree First Responders in memory of Raymond. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Raymond Dee Brenneman was born on March 21, 1946, on the farm southeast of Lone Tree, the son Harry and Amy (Westlake) Brenneman. He attended Fremont #3 Country School and Lone Tree High School. Raymond served in the U.S. Army Reserve during the Viet Nam War. He was united in marriage to Andrea Baker on August 31, 1968 in Lone Tree. Raymond was a lifelong farmer and partner in Brenneman Trucking with his brothers. He was a former member of the Lone Tree JayCees, and the Lone Tree American Legion. Raymond took great pride in the appearance of his yard and farmstead. He was an avid fan of old westerns and enjoyed listening to Rush Limbaugh.

Raymond will be deeply missed by his wife, Andrea, children; Karleen Knock, Phil Brenneman; grandchildren, Avery Knock, Alyssa Knock, Adam Knock and Harry Brenneman; siblings, Audrey Dodson, Ken (Eunice) Brenneman, Vernon (Debbie) Brenneman and Debbie (Doug) Magruder; sister-in-law, Jane Brenneman.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Ronnie Brenneman, brother-in-law, Ken Dodson and niece, Cheri Colbert.
