I know that he will be missed by all, but we have comfort in knowing that he is waiting in heaven to greet us when our time comes.
I didn't know him that well, but really enjoyed the time I did spend with him.
My condolences go out to all of you.

Douglas,
I met you one time for a brief visit when you and your son, Gale were passing through. I can say that being in your company was a sheer delight. You are a special spirit who will experience the blessings of many rewards, in this, your new journey. Godspeed.

To Gale and your family, may God's angels lift you up and hold you during this time.

So many cherished memories of family, faith, farm, food. Fun also - 95 mph in a flashy red '59 Olds. Then came that twinkle in his eye. Growing up, I loved all U. Doug's cars & car knowledge. Loved the family visits on the farm with aunt Marie, & cousins Gale, Sharon, Roe, & Brenda. What a privilege to have Doug as my uncle. Steady, consistent, thoughtful, & hard working. What a role model. A special person indeed. I am blessed to have known him.
