Sorry for your lose. I know my dad had great respect for Mr.New and spoke very highly of him. He enjoyed sitting with him when he went to visit after Mr. New first became ill and would come home and tell me stories of the 2 of them. He meant a lot to my dad.
God bless.

I am saddened at the passing of my long time friend Robert. I first met him on the Broome Community College campus as a member of our Electrical Engineering Technology advisory committee in the 1960's. In this capacity he helped the Electrical Technology program and it's several thousand graduates with his engineering expertise and industrial contacts. Over the years Bob was a mentor in working with the engineering accrediting agency ABET. We traveled together visiting technical programs around the United States. Working with Bob on his many computer activities at home was a pleasure and privilege I will always cherish. Bob was a very intelligent and innovative individual with an intense curiosity. He will be missed. The college, faculty and graduates are grateful for the contributions made by Robert to the field of engineering education. My sympathies to Denise, Mike, Jeff and his friends and family members.

Mike, Denise and Cheryl, Sorry to hear about your dad. Bet him and my dad will fix any electrical problems in heaven.
Please know my prayers are with you and your families. I know it is hard to lose a parent. Mary Jean
