Alvin DeCotes Obituary
Alvin L. DeCotes
of Port Crane
Alvin L. DeCotes, 83, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 17, 2009. He was predeceased by his son, Alan W. DeCotes in 2008; infant daughter, Kerry in 1952; his parents, John and Rachel; and four brothers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Drusilla DeCotes; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cathy DeCotes; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Kay Fuchs; several nieces; nephews and cousins. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Air Force serving with valor in the South Pacific. He was a retired employee of G.E. and Rolls-Royce Inc. He was a member of the North Fenton United Methodist Church.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson.

I am so sorry of als passing I wish I had of known sooner. We are deeply sadden to know we couldn't have been ther for you. But remember you can call on us any time that you to. We may not have been family but we are in ways that mean a lot to me
