Von Weinstein Jr.
of Binghamton, N.Y.
Charles H. Von Weinstein Jr., 77, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family on August 6, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jeanne (Hill); two sons and daughters-in-law, Kurt and Dina (Rousa) Von Weinstein, Scott and Tina (Gorton) Von Weinstein; three treasured grandchildren, Eric, Carli and Alex. Charles served from 1950-54 as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force before going graduating from Indiana Institute of Technology and working as an Electrical Engineer for Link Simulation until retiring in 1990 after 32 years. He enjoyed photography, music and also owned and operated a lawn furniture business "Wood Expressions" following his retirement. The family wishes to recognize the kindness offered to Charlie by friends and family. Special thanks to all the wonderful Hospice workers, and you know who you are.
Funeral Services will be held 12 noon, Friday, August 8, 2008, at the Savage Funeral Home, 338-344 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903 with Full Military Honors. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.savagefs.com. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice in memory of Charlie.

Scott and Kurt, I was deeply saddened by the news of your Dad's passing. He was a GREAT guy! I have fond memories of Mr. "V" at our gigs back in the day, videotaping the band. He sure was proud of his "drummer boy".
