Frank A. Williams
of Greene
Frank A. Williams, 88, artist, modeler, woodworker, died at home July 23, 2007. He was predeceased by one son, Robert and survived by his wife, Jean R. Williams; sons, John of Santa Cruz, Calif., Peter of Greene, N.Y.; and a daughter, Linda of Eugene, Oregon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Frank grew up on Long Island, son of artist, Robert F. Williams and Margaret Grosch Williams. He attended the Phoenix School of Design and served in the Merchant Marine in WWII. He has lived in Greene, N.Y. since 1958 and worked at Raymond Corp. and at Singer-Link.
Friends of the family may call Saturday from 1-2:30 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Street, Greene, N.Y. 13778. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Oquaga.

Aunt Jean, I'm so sorry for your loss. It has been a hard last year for our family. Uncle Frank was a wonderful man and always had a knack for making me smile. I know my father had also really liked and respected him. He will be greatly missed.

I lived in Greene 37 years ago and car pooled to Singer Link with Frank. He had a terrific personality and always made you laugh. My sympathy to his family.
