of Chenango BridgeMichael P. Murray, 49, of Chenango Bridge, died unexpectedly Thursday, September 5, 2002, at his home. He is survived by his parents, William and Kathleen Murray, Chenango Bridge; sisters and brother-in-law, Colleen and Tim Conklin, Hillcrest, Kelly Leadbeater, Chenango Bridge; a brother and sister-in-law, William, Jr. and Joanne Murray, Lisle; nieces and nephews, Tim Conklin, Todd Conklin, Ryan Conklin, Megan Conklin, Brendon Conklin, BJ Murray, Caitlin Leadbeater, Casey Leadbeater; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Hillcrest, a graduate of Chenango Valley High School, Class of 1971 and Erie Community College. He was an avid history enthusiast, an Eagle Scout and was a licensed optician working in the area for many years. Mike was a loving son and brother who will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday at 1 p.m. and at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mike may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1031 Chenango St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
