Glenn Simpson Obituary
Glenn C. Simpson, 45, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents, Mary and Jerome Motter and Julia and Stefan Polinsky. He is survived by his parents, Rose and Francis Simpson, Endwell, NY; two sisters and a brother-in law, Elizabeth (Sean) Simpson, Henrietta, NY, Michelle and Olivier Chevallier, Endwell, NY. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews, Daya Donaldson, Leah (Joaquin) Campos, Alexander (Sethleen) Campos, and Andrew (Shiana) Campos; by an aunt and uncle, Carol and David Hoffman; and a special friend, Julie Taft. Glenn graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1989. He was a graduate of both The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. and Binghamton University. Glenn was employed at the Pocono Environmental Education Center as an Environmental Educator. He was a former NYS BMX Champion and was a lover of nature, hiking and animals, especially cats. Glenn had a passion for music and playing guitar. His positive nature and zest for life affected all who knew him. He will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home on Friday, October 2nd from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 10 a.m. at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Expressions of sympathy in Glenn's memory may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St. Binghamton, NY 13903, or consider planting a tree in Glenn's memory.

Let´s climb the ravine and we can smell the cold and green together. It´s snowy and quiet and beautiful, being with our brother. Then back among the clouds you will ascend to continue your collaboration of music and laughter with the birds and the storms and the sun and the moon. We will not despair. My sincerest condolences to Glenn's entire family. Glenn was a great friend growing up through high school in Endicott, and riding the trails "up top" with him on our bikes. He always put his friends first and was always laughing and having fun. You will be missed by everyone you touched with your smile and great guitar playing. My family and I will plant a tree in our yard as a memorial to your memory and the memories we shared together growing up. God bless- godspeed

Glenn was a gentle and always kind person. May God Bless and keep you all during this time. I was so very sorry to hear of his passing today from my son, Nick. He remembers Glenn as a kind person as well and one that was very nice to him when he came to visit. I send you all prayers and hope that the love and thoughts of healing that are surrounding you all help you each day. We were blessed to have had some nice times listening to his amazing talent on the guitar and having those kind eyes and smile in our home.

Glenn was a wonderful soul and certainly made our days in high school better. I have many memories of being in class with him when he would use his charm and humor to make the toughest of teachers to crack a smile.
