Recently I became aware of Ann's passing, and my prayers are with all of her family. Ann, and Paulette Hazilla, as students, lived across the street from our family at Geneseo. Both were friends of my sister Ellen, as well as the rest of our family, and occasionally joined us for dinner or a boat ride around Conesus Lake. My memory of her was her infectious smile and zest for life. I have little doubt that she has left her family with a treasury of memories that will keep her alive in their minds and hearts for ever. Reading Ann's joy for gardening, flowers, and England rings very close to me as my wife is English and the two would have become fast friends as they shared a similar joy for beauty in nature.
