George and I met as freshmen at Biggs High school, Biggs, CA.. in 1948. We attended Yuba College in Marysville, and kept in touch over the years with numerous fishing trips, class reunions and a couple of Booster Club golf tournaments. I will miss him as the brother I always wanted. We enjoyed each other's company like no other. He was just the greatest friend I shall ever have. He was so fun to be with, and always could make us laugh and be happy. I will miss him so much. Katherine and I planned to attend the Memorial Service today, but came down with nasty colds and just couldn't make the trip down.
Our heartfelt Love and sympathy to Shelby and all George's family.
With love and God's blessings, Bud and Katherine Streeter

GEORGE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON IN MY LIFE AND WILL REMAIN ALWAYS WITH ME TO MY LAST LIVING DAY. SOME OF MY FONDEST MEMORIES OF GEORGE WAS WHEN WE LIVED TOGETHER IN BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA AND MADE MANY SKI TRIPS TO THE TAHOE AREA. IN THOSE DAYS WE HAD SOME GREAT AND MEMORABLE TIMES TOGETHER WHICH I SHALL NEVER FORGET. MAY THE ANGELS OF THE LORD FEEL LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A VIBRANT SOUL AMONG THEM AND IT WILL BE AN HONOR TO ONE DAY JOIN UP WITH GEORGE IN GODS KINGDOM OF EVERLASTING LIFE. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO SHELBY AND FAMILY IN THIS TIME OF GREAT LOSS AND BE COMFORTED BY KNOWING THAT GEORGE IS AT PEACE IN GODS KINGDOM.
MUCH LOVE AND DEEP FEELINGS,

I was shocked to hear of George's passing when my brother Dale Miller told me. I have very fond memories of fun times spent with George. I as well as my sister Marilyn Miller considered George my 5th brother. My husband and our young son Shawn, flew from Montana to Colorado to be at George & Shelby's Wedding. What a great time. My sister and myself also got to go to Mexico with George and our brothers Ron & Dale Miller, in the mid 60's what a wonderful time that was. George had a great sense of humor. I will cherish the memories of him forever. My heartfelt condolences to Shelby and Family.

I have only served St. John as transition pastor for a year but George, as elder and statesman, made me feel welcome. He was a positive force in the congregation's life and reached out in "love" to all people. God bless Shelby and all her family!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of George's passing. I considered him my 5th brother. When I think of George I hear his laugh and see his smile. For me George is synonamous with fun and generosity. In the early 60s my sister and I spent many happy days at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk with George. He was always game for one more ride on the rollercoaster, another candied apple, or one more arcade game. My early ski days were spent with George and Woody on Maggies and the Ridge at Heavenly. No one could crash on snowskis like George, and he always came up laughing!! I carry George and the all the great memories in my heart. My condolences and love to Shelby and family.

George and Shelby welcomed us as newcomers to Petaluma, even sharing Christmas dinner with us our 1st year here. We always looked forward to talking to them at St. John after services. He will be greatly missed by my husband and myself, as well as his church family at St. John. Pam and Jon Koch
