Patricia Bollinger Obituary

Passed away in Santa Rosa on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the age of 84. Dearly beloved wife of Lee C. Bollinger for 66 years; loving mother of Tami Bollinger-Edwards and husband Scott, Lee C. Bollinger and his wife Jean, Brad Bollinger and his wife Corine, Jayme Bollinger and his wife Nancy, and the late Mark Bollinger and Jeffrey Bollinger (twin of Jayme); adored grandmother of Lee C. Bollinger III, Carey Bollinger, Jacob Bollinger, James Edwards, Tyler Bollinger and Christopher Edwards; great-grandmother of Katelyn Marie Bollinger; dear sister of Dorothy Narducci and Joan Cameron, both of Santa Rosa; and numerous nieces and nephews. The center of Pat's life was her family. She was always there for her husband and children. Whether living in Oregon for a few years or the East Bay for a short time, she created a close, loving and creative family. She was always there to care and love them all. She was a member of St. Eugene's Cathedral, Alpha Zeta Beta Sorority, loved gardening in her yard, and enjoyed needlepoint. She will be missed. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the management and staff of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for their dedication and the loving care she received in her final days. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy Service on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dear Bollinger Family - Dad and I were shocked to learn of your Pat's passing from Lee's Christmas card, received today (12.17.2010).

Every memory I have of Pat from accompanying my parents (Cliff & Melba Hansen) to the many conventions over the years, is that she was one "class act", fun to converse with, very kind to tag-a-long me and, obviously adored her family, as demonstrated through word & actions with Lee, Tami, and the twins.

These qualities impressed me as a young girl as I grew, I tried to emulate her qualities along with my mother's in my own life.

May you find comfort and peace Dear Bollingers - Dad and I were shocked to learn of your wife / mother / grandmother's passing earlier this year from Lee's Christmas card.

Every memory I have of Pat from accompanying my parents (Cliff & Melba Hansen) to the many conventions over the years, is that she was one class act, fun to converse with, very kind to me, and, by her actions, obviously loved you all very much.

These qualities impressed me as a young woman and I have tried to emulate her example and incorporate her goodness in my own life.

The ache you felt / feel is representative of the love you each have for Pat. We pray God's tender comfort guide you in the days ahead & that happy memories of Pat will once again fill your hearts & minds.
