As a fellow member of NCOA, I can attest to his lasting legacy of goodwill. Jerry would always be engaged in lively conversation with fans, players and, fellow officials. He was loved and admired. It was a blessing to have him in our lives.

I first met Jerry the summer of 98 on the softball field. He was the ump and I was behind the plate. Jerry was always singing Buffalo Gals or telling me a joke. I had a fun 12 years playing softball with Jerry as the Ump. You will be missed. RIP Jerry.

Never saw him work softball, but can honestly attest that Jerry had the finest and kindest approach to CYO basketball I've ever seen. You were always in excellent hands when Jerry took the court. Best wishes to his family and friends.

I've known Jerry through our Coast Guard MWR Sports programs since 2002. I will always fondly remember his humor, honesty, and ability to calm even the most aggravated players into compliance with rules. My most sincere condolences to his family both immediate and external.

So many fond memories with Uncle Jerry. I will never forget watching him umpire and call strike. He is the reason I always buy the little league candy bars. He was one in a million, and will always be in my heart. Miss you!
