Susan BOWMAN

BOWMAN, Susan 85, of Santa Rosa passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018, at her daughter's home in Angwin, where she had been receiving Lisa's loving care for the last two years. Beloved wife of the late Donald Bowman, loving mother to her four children Doug (Leslie), Kathleen, Karen (Fonz) and Lisa (Joe) (Crean). Preceded in death by two grandchildren, Adam Peterson and Kaitlin Bowman. Grandmother to Kristin, Alex, Michael, Erica, Clayton, Dane, Jade and Zahara. Great-grandmother to twins Elizabeth and Grace. Originally from Chicago, Sue came to California at age 21 where she met former sailor and then telephone repairman Don. They were married in 1956 until his passing in 2003. They moved to Santa Rosa to raise their family in 1963. An artist and voracious card player, she had few equals. She was a regular at the card clubs in Oakmont where she resided for 16 years. A celebration of life will be held on May 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Bowman Cellars, 9010 Graton Rd. in downtown Graton.
