Frances McDavid Pavlik, 83, entered into rest on February 12, 2019. The daughter of the late Elizabeth Conklin (Koenig) and step daughter of Frank Conklin, she was born February 26,1935 in Pensacola, FL.
Fran loved her time spent between her New Windsor home and her snowbird home in Leesburg, FL. She was active with the Kitchen Band in Florida and enjoyed volunteering for various church functions in both Florida and New Windsor. We will always cherish the wonderful memories of our summer vacations at Sea Isle City, NJ. Mom loved the beach.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard "Red" Pavlik; children: Jane Czinkota (George) of New Paltz, Richard "Rich" Pavlik of DeLand, FL, Mark Pavlik of Poughkeepsie, and James "Jim" Pavlik of New Windsor; sisters-in-law Betty Bardin (Bob) of Wallkill and Dorothy Quigley of Cohoes; nephew John Corkedale ( Pat) of New Windsor, nieces Linda Barnett (Bill) of Newburgh, Patty LoGrotteria (Peter) of Mocksville, NC; and countless great-nieces and nephews. Fran and Red also have many lifelong wonderful friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Helen Corkedale and daughter-in-law Linda Pavlik.
Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, February 17 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 18 at St. Joseph's Church, New Windsor. To send a personal condolence, please visit www.Brooksfh.com or call 845-561-8300.
