Nancy Monti Obituary
Nancy P. Monti, 95, a resident of New Paltz, died Monday, September 15, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Mrs. Monti was born in N.Y.C on May 15, 1913, she was the daughter of Frank and Giovanina Paterno.
Mrs. Monti was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in New Paltz. On December 8, 1935 in N.Y.C she married Thomas Monti. Mr. Monti predeceased her on July 9, 2004.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joanne Mazzetti of Highland and Narietta Marion of New Paltz; five grandsons, Thomas Marion and Tara, Gerald Marion, and Leticia, Timothy Marion and Lauriann, Joseph Mazzetti and Tina, Thomas Mazzetti and Robin; three great grandchildren, Eric Thomas Marion, Jenna Marie Mazzetti, Ava Rose Mazzetti, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Monti was predeceased by her sister, Antonette Giarrusso.
There are no calling hours.
Services and burial are private.
Nancy was a loving, compassionate, and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all.
