David was my youngest brother who was always a gentle and sweet soul--with a merry and impish sense of humor. He was loved very much and will be missed equally so. And will be particularly remembered whenever I see an outrageous pun or a really bad (not obscene, just really bad) joke. He was truly a Light in all our lives.

We will miss David so much. He was a wonderful Friend and patient mentor to me and my husband, Greg Shubert, as we became more involved in the life of our Quaker Meeting. We'll miss his wry sense of humor and spot-on recommendations for intriguing, quirky films. We're so glad we had a chance to know David. We will hold his family in the Light.
