Native of Reno, NV. Gary passed away following a long illness.
He is survived by his parents Ray & Sue Etnyre, his wife Mary and much beloved children Erin, Morgan, Caitlin, & Drew as well as his sister Carol (Jim) Johnson and Nephews Chase and Bryce Johnson.
Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Presbyterian Church on Monday February 4, 2013 at 11:00am.

Gary you were always a very good friend who was always willing to open your home and heart to anyone who got to know you. we became good friends in high school and after. when I got married you were at my wedding and when I returned from my duty with the 101st airborn you were there to greet me at the airport. we played board games that lasted into the night and sometimes for days. when I met your wife and oldest daughter I knew you were doing well. You were a piller of the community when you took over for your mom and dad at Etnyre's jewelry store in downtown reno. I was very lucky to have a friend like you. I wish that I had known of your Illniss because I would have dropped everything to come and see you. YOU will be missed by me Tracy Andes and Robert Greco, David Greco, Curtis Kelly,Darrian Arky, Robert Fry,Eric Stovall,and Pete I cant rememmber his last name sorry. Your family meant alot to me and they were the best at making you fill welcome in there home. Now you are with the lord our God and he can make you one of his survents. For His family I am very sorry for your loss but just rememmber how he was as a father and son. I will miss you my friend and you will always be in my thoughts. Love Tracy Andes (775-742-o435)
