Devon Saunders Obituary

Devon passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, February 23, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Grant and Amanda Saunders, her sister, Julie, her daughter, Skylar, Grandmother Catherine Warner, Grandfather Lawrence Saunders, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She was a devoted mother, loving daughter and sister. She took pride in being independent and embraced motherhood, showing all her love and compassion for her daughter and others. She really loved her friends and had so much joy spending time with Skylar and her group of mothers. She had a calming demeanor, bringing harmony and balance to those around her.
She was born in Reno and graduated from Reno High School. Growing up, she spent much of her time camping, fishing, hanging out with her family at the racetrack, or in beautiful outdoor places along streams, rivers and lakes, and the ocean. One of her strongest passions was her love for her animals.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 27th at the parents' home for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Devon's memory may be made for her daughter, Skylar. An account has been set up In Trust for Skylar at Bank of America # 501006305538

I did not know Devon, however I was a child hood friend of her dad, uncle, and grandparents. I am so sorry for your loss, specially at such a young age. may she Rest in peace.
