Not sure what to say?

I was talking with someone today about my earliest days as a graduate respiratory therapy technician in SW VA and invoked Doug's name as one of the very best bosses anyone could ever have. I was so sad when I came home and "Googled" his name to find that he had passed. I live thousands of miles away now and have been out of respiratory therapy for over 10 years, but I can still hear Doug's voice and his booming and heartfelt laughter, and I can see that amazing smile that could light up the...

I had the pleasure of working closely with Doug for many years in the '80s and '90s in the Virginia respiratory therapy professional association, the VSRC. Doug was a committed, hard working individual on behalf of the profession but more importantly was a man of integrity and boundless good will. He will be missed.

Jane,
You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Jane & Family,
You are in my prayers.

Jane, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. I know you have both had a hard time for a while and I can't imagine what you're going through. I want you to know I've truly admired you and Doug both and your strength and compassion have inspired me for a long time. I am sorry I wasn't able to see him since I left the bank. You've both remained in my thoughts regularly. Take care and I pray for Gods embrace to comfort you.

We are so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jane,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and give you peace during this difficult time.
