Ashley hey hun you crossed my mind today as I was in Belvidere. I told my daughters about about all of my great and unforgettable memories at St.James with you !! You were my only TRUE FRIEND and Of course BFF @ that school !! To be honest you were all I needed!! You had so much life and energy and you kept me laughing all the time ! You always said what was on your mind and I loved that about you !! You had such beauty inside and out !! Your daughter's are beautiful you wouldn't believe it! I have 5 girls myself. Yesterday would have been your 31st birthday. (Thank you Dalton's for posting on her birthday.) We normally sign our balloons and send them up to heaven for you, but both of the girls were sick and Ameris had high fever and was throwing up so we will have to wait a day or two until she's better. I miss you so much and wish you were here with us. Girls are so beautiful and smart and Vi looks just like you and when she cracks up she makes the same face you did when you were her age. It makes my heart light up and sad at the same time. Ameris has your spunk and sense of humor. We love you so much and pray for you every night. I know you are resting in peace with God, Jesus and our family and that is the only thing that gives me peace. All my love, Mom

Ash, i have alot of regret over the year before you died. I was going through a difficult time and I wish that we could have just talked that year. I miss you so much. You were my best friend. I miss staying for dinner at your mom and dads with your family, i miss the way you always colored my hair just right, i miss going for lunch and having margarita's at tumbleweeds. I miss when you would stop by house on the way out to visit your parents. I miss how i was always there for you when you needed to talk and vent and same for me. We were both there for eachother when you had Valynnzia and i had Brooklyn. I wish you were here and we could talk about so many things. I hope you are looking down and know that i love and miss our friendship dearly. You were my best friend- your girls look just like you too. I had another baby a year and a half ago i wish you were here to have met. I think about you all the time ash and i hope you know how much i have missed you in my life since you have been gone. HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRL! You would have been 30 today. The girls, Dad and I just sang to you and sent up your balloons for your birthday. I know you heard us and are loving seeing your balloons soar to heaven to meet you. We miss you so much. The girls have been talking so much about you these past few weeks. Its funny they know this is the time of year that you left us. I can't believe you've been gone 3 years already. It seems like yesterday. I've kept a couple of your voicemails on my phone so I can still hear your voice. You would be so proud of the girls. Vi looks so much like you and funny little Ameris acts so much like you. They are both smart, beautiful little girls. We pray for you every night and the girls always wish you happiness being with God and Jesus. I know you were looking down at all of us and especially Erika when she got married on January 4th. The poem that was read was for you from Erika. Judy, its been 2 years already since we lost Ashley, today I had been thinking about her more than ever and my heart aches. Still can't believe she is gone!:( and the guilt in my heart is kiling me. I feel that I shoud have did more for her. I miss my girls so much (Ameris and Valenzya) and I would love to see them again. I have been praying for all of you. Thinking a lot about my girl today (like I do every day). I know she is watching the girls and smiling at all the cute things they do and say. They are remarkable little girls. I love them with all my heart and miss their mom so much my heart just aches. Mike, Amber and Del, thank you so much for making an entry in January/February. It is coming up on the first anniversary of our daughters death. It still feels like it was yesterday. I miss her today as much as the day she passed. It doesn't seem to get any easier. I don't know if anyone still looks at this site or reads back through the comments, but I hope so. I still thank you all for your kind words and prayers. The girls are doing great. They are both doing well in school and adjusting to life without their mom. They miss her and talk about her a lot and we pray for her every night before we go to bed. Thank you to all of her good friends who still keep in contact with me - it means so much. Judy

To everyone that wrote about our daughter. Thank you so much for the kind words, thoughts and prayers given to us, the girls and our entire family and especially our beautiful girl who now makes her home with our Lord and Savior in Heaven. I was in such shock during the week of her passing that I may have missed talking to and thanking everyone for being there for us and for the many beautiful flowers and memorial gifts for the girls. The girls are doing good. They still have their difficult moments but we are working through them. Please continue to pray for us and always remember our daughter as the beautiful woman/mother she was. (And to Ashley - I love you and miss you every minute of every day my precious little daughter. Ashley was an asset to our family. We always knew she would come in with a huge smile and ton of energy. She could make you laugh even if you didn't feel like it. We last saw her at our family thanksgiving with the girls and she was absolutely vibrant and beautiful. We will all miss her.

Ashley was one of my best friends in school...riding in the neon to byron blastin the radio and laughing until it hurt, watching movies in judy and dans basement, and the talks we used to have when she was doing my hair. I would hate to have someone else touch my hair with a pair of scissors lol and she knew it. I remember being the first person to make friends with her when she came from dixon. I knew right when I saw her she was a great person. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of her passing...Ashley and I had such great times together. I will so miss her fun, loving spirit. I will cherish these and many many more memories I have her. I had not talked to ashley in about a month,which I am sad about. I am praying my heart out for those little girls.
