Kay, I am so sorry for your loss. Ron was a large male figure in my life after my dad was sick and passed away and I will never forget our time together. He may not have known what an influence he had, but I assure you it was huge. I will never forget the running races we had... or keeping him on the phone forever -- he had the patience of a saint!

Our deepest condolescenses to the Ethington-extended family. I was so shocked to just learn of this a short time ago. I grew up with the Ethington children, whom lived just behind us for several years. Kay, I don't know if you remember me or not, but you and yours will be included in my prayers. I worked with Ron in the Model Shop at Atwood back in the 80's. He was always a kind person and after all these years, it appears he didn't change. We might have all gone our separate ways but I never forgot Ron and his Dad. May all your special memories help you in the days to come. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Kay,
I'm so sorry to hear of your husband Ron's death. Having lost my husband seven years ago this week (sudden death) - I know a little about what you are experiencing...
I have been offering my rosaries for you and your children and praying for strength for you. I will leave my contact information for you on the sympathy card that I will give. Please feel free to contact me when it is a comfortable time for you.
To help me get through the first several weeks, I had to force myself to eat healthy foods as I lost my appetite and almost fainted several times. I would cry myself to sleep, while listening to a rosary cassette. I asked Our Heavenly Father for help and strength daily - sometimes - several times a day.
If people offer to help - in any way - it will be a blessing and give you a break so that you will have more time to take care of other important matters.
Also, don't be afraid to ask for help or just for someone to listen.
