BARBARA J. KELLY, 84 BELVIDERE - Barbara J. Kelly, 84, of Belvidere, IL passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, June 8, 2014 in her home surround by her loving family. Barbara was born December 5, 1929 in Cherry Valley, IL the daughter of Ralph S. and Alice N. (Kelley) Haffenden. She married George B. Kelly in Belvidere, IL on August 26, 1950. Barbara was a realtor and broker for Oldejans Real Estate and then for Audrey Smith. Barbara is loved and will be missed by her husband, George; children, Michael (Suzanne) Kelly of Aberdeen, WA, Kevin (Nikki) Kelly of Belvidere, Diane "Dee" (John) Schoepski of Roscoe, Caroline "Carrie" Kelly-Wright of Belvidere; brother, Ralph (Dee) Haffenden of Ohio; sisters, Margery (Richard) Johnson of Mahomet, IL, Marion Ernesti of Marengo, IL; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother in-law, Ruth and Paul Hillman. Memorial gathering will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Chapel, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL. A private Graveside burial will take place at Highland Garden of Memories with the Rev. Glen Borhart, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church of Marengo, IL.
