Barbara was not only a classmate, she was a friend and neighbor in grade school when I lived on Hill Ave. In the summer we would play outdoor games. Also, we would play cards and Monopoly . We would also practice physical balancing acts in her basement above a mattress. Barb was a perfectionist. She also reminded me never to touch her brothers drum set!!!Her Mom , Shirley, would give the neighborhood kids diaries at xmas. Her folks were very generous with gifts and taking us to the Dairy Queen.

I just this week heard of Barb's passing. We stood up for each other at our weddings. She was one of my dearest friends in high school and through the years. We had so many laughs together and got in our share of mischief too. It all came flooding back to me when I heard the news. I loved her parents and she loved mine. We were not only friends, but family as well. I treasure those memories. Rest in peace, Dear Friend... Karin

Rest in peace Barb. Memories of your kindness and empathy you showed to those who were fortunate enough to know you remain cherished.

I worked for 6 years with Barbara at BAS. She was a very friendly, helpful, and caring person. May she rest in peace. God bless.

To the boys: Knew your mom at Atwood and got to know you two also. Your mom was always quite proud of you both. She was a good person and very competent at all aspects of the health insurance department at Atwood back when Atwood was self-insured and self-administered.
Your words on her resilience and strong silence were very accurate and appropriate. I hope you both are otherwise doing well and share her resilience.

Your mother was a gentle soul. I was glad we were able to see each other at Dr. Erikson's office and catch up with talk of grandkids. Very sorry for your loss.
