SALEM — Robert R. Bonsang, 69, of Salem, died at home in the company of his family, Tuesday morning, Nov. 11, 2008. He was the loving husband of Katherine (Chace) Bonsang of Salem.

Bob was born in Salem, the son of the late George and Irene (Leboeuf) Bonsang. He was a lifelong resident of Salem and was employed for over 37 years at Whyte's Laundry in Lynn.

Mr. Bonsang spent a lot of time reading the Bible. He loved traveling and also enjoyed going whale watching.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one sister, Dolores Morin and her husband Richard of Peabody, three brothers; Roger Bonsang and his wife Carol of Salisbury, Arthur Bonsang and his wife Lynn and Richard and his wife Grace, all of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., one brother-in-law Preston Chace of Beverly, and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. in the North Shore Community Church, 9 Hart St., Beverly Farms.
