Doris Cuthbertson Robinson

Doris Robinson Salisbury - Doris Cuthbertson Robinson, 62, of 131 Town Court, Salisbury died Saturday (Oct. 8, 2005) at Lutheran Nursing Home, Trinity Oaks after several weeks of serious illness. Mrs. Robinson was born February 19, 1943 in Rowan County to the late Annie Blair Cuthbertson and Lemb Cuthbertson and graduated from R.A. Clement High School. She was a retired CNA, having worked at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, Parent Body Missionary, and a former Choir Member. Mrs. Robinson is preceded in death by her husband Edward Robinson. She is survived by her brothers, James Cuthbertson, and wife Queenie, Woodleaf and Shirley Cuthbertson and wife Virginia, of Woodleaf; sisters Mary Price and Colleen Britton, of Salisbury and Eva Morring, Lanham, Md.; a nephew Darryl Price, Salisbury; a devoted friend Ruth Long, Salisbury; god children Eugenia Davis, Salisbury and Rashonda Mayfield, Cleveland. Services : 2 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, Barber. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral at the church.
