Eric Durrant Obituary
August 15, 1970 - august 15, 2015
Sandy, UT-Eric died of liver failure at Care Source Hospice on his 45th birthday. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Deween Durrant; siblings: Valerie Lynne (Josh Bayer), Michael Durrant (Kari), Cheryl Fillmore (Lincoln); nephews Alex Bayer and Nicholas Fillmore; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents: Wayne and Phoebe Durrant, Winnie Burton and Dewey Canning; cousins Jimmy and Tony Durrant. Eric loved pizza, making music, writing songs, and thrift store shopping. He was burdened with many difficult challenges in life, and we are grateful he is now at peace. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the many acts of love and support in their behalf. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Eric's memory. A casual gathering will be held in his honor on Sunday, August 23, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Willow Creek Stake Pavilion, 2350 E. Creek Road. Eric was one of the first friends I made after moving to Utah, I have a goofy picture of him posing with a clock :) in 1983 (I'll include it ... it makes me laugh). Thanks for the memories Eric, thanks for being a friend; when I needed one.
