Jack Peake Obituary
Jack passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2013.
He was born on July 8, 1947 to Egbert G. Peake and Hazel Jack Peake. Graduated from West High School in 1965. He served his country for six years in the U.S. Air Force in pararescue for the SR-71 Blackbird Project. Jack married Sharon Kisselburg on November 21, 1981 in Reno, NV. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jack was a pretty good gardener and enjoyed working in the yard. He was a talented artist and designed many beautiful buildings as a technical draftsman and graphic artist in Salt Lake.
He is survived by his mother; his wife; his daughter Corey (Markus) Ulibarri; son Frank (Amy) Conte; his sister Terri (Kevin) Cobb; six grandchildren; many nephews. Preceded in death by his father.
Friends are invited to celebrate Jack's life on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
In lieu of flowers friends are encouraged to make a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Jack. Online condolences may be offered at www.starksfuneral.com

Words cannot begin to express my sorrow. Jack and I were inseparable growing up. We were more like brothers than cousins.I will always cherish the many wonderful times we spent together. After many years apart, I am eternally grateful we were recently able to spend time together.

Sharon, Frank and family,
We are so sorry for your loss and are forever grateful for the opportunities we had to know and work with Jack with the museum (trust me Jack is in this picture just to the right of the cockpit and the rest of you are on the far left wing) and over the many years of association with the Petersen family. We have one son who is fascinated by the USAF para-rescue teams and loved talking to Jack about his experiences. He is truly a cherished friend we will look forward to seeing again in the eternities.

I am Jack eldest cousin on the Peake side of the family, as kids we were really close. My brother Jim and Jack were born less than 4 months apart and were together a lot. Back then it was Jackie, Jimmie and Billy (Sessions-cousin). I moved out of state a lost most contact with Jack and Sharon, but had seen him a few times in recent years. We always had a great time thinking back to the good old days. Sharon, Aunt Hazel and Terri and family we are so sorry for your loss.

what can be said at a time like this to truly express the shock...after a lifetime of associating with the Kisselburg family, it is like losing a friend one has never met.
