James Liddiard Obituary

James (Jim) Bryant Liddiard
1924 ~ 2016
James (Jim) Bryant Liddiard, our amazing husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 11, 2016 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer's Vascular Dementia at the age of 92 at the Carrington Court Memory Care Center. He received excellent care from the bubbly staff. Jim was born June 24, 1924 in Provo, Utah to Raymond L. Liddiard and Orissa Pernella Jolley.
Jim joined the U.S. Army right after graduation from high school and served with the 10th Mountain Division. Jim married Mary-Lynn Klotovich on May 15, 1961, later sealed in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. He was an electrical engineer for AT&T for 34 years. Jim loved golfing, tennis, skiing, riding horses, raising animals of all kinds, especially homing pigeons, coaching The Dodgers Little League baseball team. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions happily. He enjoyed being a temple worker.
Jim is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary-Lynn, six children: LeAnn (Maynard) Koncar; Jon (Anca); Doug; Stacey (Bret) Wall; Bryan (Sheree); Tamalyn (Corey) Kuhn; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and sister Lois Lyons. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter LoRay Foley, brother Lloyd, and sister Bernice Blunt.
Thanks to our wonderful children and their spouses, Carrington Court Memory Care staff and residents, and Brighton Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at the South Jordan 7th Ward, 9750 South 2200 West, South Jordan.
