Patricia Cook-Tabatabai Obituary

Patricia Jane Cook-Tabatabai, age 49, went home to her savior on Sunday, April 24, 2005. She passed away at her home in Alamo Heights, TX after a lengthy battle with her health. Patti was born March 12, 1956 to the late Leland and Fanny Cook of Seagoville, TX. Patti Jane was the devoted wife of Beajen Tabatabai, loving mother of Stephanie, Jeff, and Sam, son-in-law Landon Porter and proud grandmother of Emilie. Patti is survived by brother, Daniel S. Cook, DDS and his wife Cheryl Cook, niece, Cheri and husband, Bill Sarten their daughters Amy and Katie, and son Danny Fulton; nephew, Steven D. Cook, DDS and his wife Tonya and their children, Mary Jewel and Zada, nephew, David Cook and his wife Carrie, brothers, T. Eddie Cook, and Gregory Cook, his wife Terry and children DD and JJ Cook and Greg's children Tracy and Alan Cook and their children and a deceased brother, Robert L Cook, Jr. Patti's sister Catherine Klingel, husband Jim and son, Jason. Patti resided most of her life in San Antonio, TX where she had many friends and loved ones of an extended family of Beajen's brothers and their wives and children. Brothers-in-law, Ali Tabatabai, wife Felica, their children, Ashli Tabatabai-Smith her husband Chris, daughter Delaney, and Elizabeth Tabatabai. Arjon Tabatabai and wife Mehvesh, Arjon's children Arjon Jr., Ryan, Mahriam, and John, children Rio and Kira. Patti possessed an artistic nature, sharing her love of art with all. She pursued her interests as her children grew up and received an AA Degree in Fine Arts graduating with honors from San Antonio College. She earned a scholarship to Smith College, North Hampton, MA as an Ada Comstock Scholar. Patti majored in Architecture and Urbanism from September 2001 through December 2003. She had hoped to graduate in May 2004 but had to return to Texas due to failing health. Patti will be greatly missed by all who came to know and love her. All of us who remain are comforted by the memory of her loving kindness and sweet ways. May God grant us the day when we shall see her again in the hereafter with our Lord. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 from 5:00 9:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapel North, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Mission Park Funeral Chapel North. Memorial gifts would be appreciated to: Christus Santa Rosa Hospice, 4415 Centerview Dr. San Antonio, TX 78228 in lieu of flowers.
