Mark Hime Obituary
Mark Elwin Hime, born March 14th, 1966 in Minneapolis Minnesota, died suddenly on June 4th, 2015.
Mark was the Operations Manager at Sunray Pools. He loved his family as well as so many close friends. He enjoyed life to the fullest and made sure everyone around him did as well. It was his passion to make sure each day had a purpose and that purpose was filled with love. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Mark is survived by his Wife Jackie, Daughter Krystal (Husband Nate), Granddaughter Kaleigh Renee, Son Mark Austin, Mother Renee, Father Charles, Brothers; Shawn, Eric, (Wife Shannon and Children), Dave (Wife Angie) and Kenneth. Proceeded in death by Grandmother Dorothy Waldren, and Grandfather Elmer Hime.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Douglas McArthur Park, 1611 NE Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78209 on June 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with speakers starting at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral and burial will be held in Minnesota, date TBA.

Thinking about Mark this past week, and then was sent an invitation to add a note. I met Mark in the third grade at Fourth Baptist School. We were in the same class for about three years. He was always up to something. I remember the time in 5th grade,he put a piece of paper in his ear, then tried getting Miss Cooper's attention. When she finally addressed him, he said "It's in there somewhere, I just can't find it!" LOL I think he is keeping the angels entertained!

I did not know Mark personally, but heard about him through his wonderful parents and my friends, Chuck and Renee Heimes. I do know that they had faith and prayer at this unexpected time in their lives and loved their son very much. My prayers continue to go out for Mark, and his wife and family. Jan Kislenger - Mora MN

I only met him one time, his son Mark is very good friends with my son and I know his son very well. My heart goes out to all of you. May God be with you in this time of sorrow and anguish.

So sorry to hear about this loss. I know first hand what it is like to lose a father in a tragedy like this. What a great guy--so glad I got to know him back in the third grade and reconnect on FB these past several years. Keep remembering the fun times and his awesome smile!

Jackie, Krystal and Austin,
A piece of my heart broke the day God called Mark home. I have so many memories of Mark and every one of them brings a smile to my face. He loved all of you so very much and he let everyone know it. He has touched so many lives in a positive way. Mark was an angel on earth. And he is now an angel watching over all of you. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all.
