Joyce Lee Benner

1937 - 2014

Benner, Joyce Lee 09/16/1937 ~ 06/10/2014 VISTA -- Joyce was a dedicated wife, devoted mother and accomplished artist. She had eight children, 22 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She left us to go to her Heavenly home, being greeted with a "Welcome, good and faithful servant" following her son, Matthew, daughter, Diana, grandson, Jonathan, and her wonderful husband, John Benner. Joyce lived most of her life in North San Diego County. Her art work can be found in collections around the world. Joyce's life was an example of service and sacrifice to help others in need. She used her artistry and teaching talents to reach many, bringing light and joy into their lives, leading many to a relationship with Christ, the foundation of all peace and joy. She will be sorely missed but her legacy as a tough prayer warrior for Christ will last for many generations to come. Services will be at 1pm on Saturday, July 5, at Grace Chapel of the Coast, 102 N. Freeman St., Oceanside, CA.
