Dear Bo,
I received your birthday gifts, yesterday.
Some good rain, two rainbows and a raincloud spreading the most beautiful red evening light over my head, while I was walking home from my walking training, as well as bringing out the beautiful Autumn colours even more. You always said to us rain is a blessing (Regen ist Segen). I needed to see the blessings, this year. Thank you. Also, thank you for watching over me.

I am glad that I had the honour to know you for a bit of your path on Mother Earth. Now it's time for me to let you go with all my heart and all my love as Cloud Eagle flies to new shores. Dear friend,
it was only a few weeks ago that I learnt You were planning to visit us last fall, but then it never came to this...
But knowing this comforts me. There were things we had to speak about, and I rest assured that communication between our souls is possible. I went to a sweat last week and prayed for You and thanked again, then You were present, and stayed thus over hours.

Beloved Friend, You called me in my dream some 17 years ago when I prayed to God asking, "Where do you want me to go?". In my dream you put a cross on my third eye and kissed me on the cheek. Your family was standing next to you and I have been moved by that dream ever since. My life in New Mexico has been blessed by your friendship, your love and your Rainbow Warrior Spirit. My best friend "Bo", my spiritual brother, as you often called me. Here's a great big hug and a cornmeal offering to accompany you on your further journey. We will somehow manage to get along without your physical presence but you will always live in our hearts and we will continue to carry the "talking stick" about your wonderful ideas about love and the unity of "all tribes"-- but our world has changed with your passing.
You have touched so many people and helped them to move on again after major disparagements. You have inspired so many to live life fully and it has always given me a sense of renewal, of ease and simply trust to laugh, to work and to play together for many "moons" and "winter counts" now. The great spirit knows why it was time for you to move on to other "hunting grounds"--we trust him even though it is not something we would have chosen for you. To my dear brother Beau - I love you so much! Once we got out of school, we hardly saw much of each other, but every time we did, you always had such a big hug for me and I felt your sincerity. I will miss you, Bo. You were my best friend in Pojoaque High School. When you left to Utah, I missed you very much. I was glad when you came back and we met maybe 3 more times when you were going to UNM. God Bless you and your family. Your Mom, Dad, and sisters were very good to me when I would stay over at their house and I really liked it when your Dad took me fishing to Heron Lake.
