**Obituary for Dolores Mirabal** Dolores Mirabal, born on February 23, 1947, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Dolores dedicated much of her life to caregiving, a profession that reflected her generous spirit and unwavering loyalty to those in need. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication. Her family and friends will remember her not only for her nurturing nature but also for her ability to bring warmth and joy to every gathering.
A deeply spiritual person, Dolores found great solace in her faith. She loved attending church services and cherished listening to old gospel hymns, which filled her heart with peace and happiness. Her devotion to her faith was a guiding light in her life, inspiring those around her.
She is survived by her loving children: Isabel & Pete Espinosa, Michael & Joana Mirabal, Patricia Mirabal, and AnnaMarie Mirabal. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Monica Candelaria, Reyna Candelaria, Michael & Bethany Candelaria, Michael Jr. Candelaria, Andrea & Patrick Tafoya, Patrick Jr. Tafoya, Layla Tafoya, Adrian Tafoya, Anthony Romero, Anthony Jr. Romero, Jordan Romero, Natalee Romero, Crystal Mirabal, Olivia Burns, Christina & Michael Chavez-Mirabal, Michael Jr. Chavez, Lilyana Chavez, Theresa & Sergio Parra, Monica Lopez, Angilo Parra, Analicia Parra, April & John Jaramillo-Baca, Alexandria Jaramillo, Loriann & Steven Barraza, Zephaniah Barraza, Adalyn Barraza, Veronica Velasquez, Fabian Gonzales, Isaiah Velasquez, Ezekiel Velasquez, Elijah Velasquez, Richard Jr. Velasquez, Valentino Montes, Esperanza Montes, Youneq Miera-Montes, Jose Miera-Montes, as well as her granddaughter Patience Montes. She was loved by her sister in-laws Jenny & MaryJane, and many of her nieces, nephews and friends.
The community is invited to honor Dolores's life at her funeral services, which will be held at New Beginnings Church, located at 4770 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, on July 24, 2025, at 12 PM. A communal reception will follow immediately after the service to share in celebrating Dolores's beautiful life.
Dolores Mirabal leaves behind a rich legacy of love, generosity, and compassion that will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered for the profound impact she made on the lives of so many.
