They broke the mold when it came to Tom. I was fortunate enough to enjoyed some great times with him at the Big East Tourney and elsewhere. Truly a man for the ages and a life well lived.

Healy Family- I am SO extremely saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I am a graduate of Holy Names (2005), but met Tom from working at The UPS Store in Newton Plaza for almost 6 years. Tom would come in and ship everything from important documents to his blazers on the hangers to Nantucket. I laughed when I read about his black ink pen...which always ended up on my arm or smudged on my hand. I will miss his smile and small talk with me. What an amazing man!
Thinking of you all,

I did not learn of Tom's passing, and I am still stunned, as I thought I would see him this weekend. He was among the more generous and kind-hearted people I have known and he was always a warm, welcome friend. I am sorry for his family. We will always keep a place for Tom. God bless Tom and his family. With Love, Fran

Tom was a gentle man. He served as portfolio manager for our church and then as a personal adviser and friend. He was an exemplar of his profession: knowledgeable, accommodating (meeting day or night), and always friendly. He will be greatly missed. Condolance and deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.

My heart goes out to Joe, Tom's daughters and legions of friends. I'm grateful to call Tom a friend and a fellow avid hoop fan. No one loved the games, and the post-game, more.
His presence and purple sweater will be missed in Providence, Boston, Syracuse and, most of all, at the Big East Tournament.
RIP Tom, we loved you.

Tom and I go all the way back to our days at Million Dollar Beach in LG in the 60's. We also spent time together in Saratoga in August.
It was always fun and informative when I saw him. We shared many stories and laughed a lot.
He will be missed.

To My Friend and coworker for over 40 years, Joseph W. Healy Jr. on the passing of his younger brother Tom. My regrets, condolences, thoughts and prays are with you and of course all "The Clan Healy". And we your friends and former co-workers realize what a vigilant elder son, you've been, having made many many a trips to Albany and Gleen Falls over the years to pay respects on the behalf of yourself and the Westfield clan. Many of these trips came after work (a long ride each way). I have passed the word to as many of your old coworkers as I can, and hope that Tom's children will remember to place a note in the obit section of The Springfield Republican. You have too many friends down here that would like to send you their condolences. God Bless.
