I had the pleasure of knowing Patience when I would take her and Priscilla shopping. Such a lovely lady. Always so kind...

Patience was best known to us through our visits by her father at the Haley residence in Guilford Maine. We are cousins through our Mother Charlotte Haley Lander. The "twins" ,Patience and Priscilla were known as artists to us through our Grandmother Helen Haley and the Twins uncle George A.E.Haley. Deanna and I got to know them better in later years and they gave us some family memorabilia including beds and a steamer trunk, and a ship desk.
Our last visit with Patience was in Ogunquit where she gave us a personal tour of her exhibit there which centered around her Blue Moon Paintings. It was a great visit and we will remember her wonderful hospitality for many years. It was great to get to know her firsthand as we had not done before.
