Christopher Ghikas Obituary
SCHENECTADY - On June 6, 2025, Christopher J. Ghikas (Gisoti), loving father of Finn, passed away at his childhood home, surrounded by his family, at the age of 27. Christpoher was born April 19, 1998, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Gregory Gisoti and Trisha VanPatten Gisoti.
He graduated from Tamarac High School. Christopher was very proud to work along side his father as a plumbing and heating apprentice.
Finn was his pride and joy, he was the most important person in his life and the center of his universe.
Christopher loved life, his family and friends. Riding and working on dirt bikes with his neighbor, traveling to the races, listening to music or just relaxing at home with Finn. Chris spent some weekends donating his time for the Homes for Heroes, helping house our veterans. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Gregory and Trisha; he is the cherished father of Finn Lee Gisoti; dear dear brother of Gabrielle Ghikas and Miles Gisoti; loving uncle of Scarlett Cora and Bently Cora; survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Christopher's family Friday, June 13, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. His funeral service will be 4:30 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
