ELIZABETH ALDEN PARKER FORMAN

FORMAN, Elizabeth Alden Parker Passed away on March 9, 2026, in Plymouth. Her 99 years of a full and generous life concluded peacefully, with family by her side. Born on December 17, 1926, Elizabeth was the only child of Raymond and Emily Shepherd Parker of Braintree, Massachusetts. She graduated from Thayer Academy in Braintree ('44) and Colby College in Maine ('48), later earning a master's degree in education at Boston University. For many years, she worked as a teacher and reading specialist in the Hanover school system. She was a past member of the Plymouth Garden Club, Mayflower Society, and Alden Kindred of America. She was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. Dr. Charles C. Forman; and survived by three sons: Charles "Chad" Forman and his wife, Dianne of Norwell; Peter Forman and his wife, Dawn of Plymouth and Philip Forman, also of Plymouth. She leaves five grandchildren, David Parker Forman and his wife, Maureen Forman of Alexandria, VA, Chandler Alden Forman and his wife, Carolyn, also of Alexandria Sarah Kramer Forman and her husband, Ryan Cronin of South Boston, Emily Elizabeth Forman King and her husband, Fred King of Medfield and Victoria Forman Prudden and her husband, Jamie of South Boston. She also leaves four great-grandchildren, Parker David Forman, Hadley Dianne Prudden, Landon Chad Prudden and Grace Elizabeth Forman. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at the Church of the Pilgrimage (First Congregational) in Plymouth.
