It is a sad day for us at the State Auditor's Office to learn about Kevin's passing.
As the current State Auditor, I got to know a little about Kevin before his retirement. However brief my experience was, I can say without reservation, he was a delightful person, full of stories and funny anecdotes about SAO.
For those of us who knew him briefly or for a long time, I can say unequivocally we are fortunate to have worked with him.
He was steadfast and took pride in his work at SAO and our mission of government accountability.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends at this time.
Pat McCarthy
