Sarah Lindeman Obituary

Sarah Joyce LINDEMAN Of Kirkland, Washington, passed on October 21, 2007 in Kent, Washington. She was the youngest daughter of the late William Franklin Lindeman and Jane Rogman Lindeman. Born in Libertyville, Illinois, Sarah lived in Lake Forest, Illinois before moving with her family to Bellevue in 1967. Sarah earned a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington and a Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the College of Engineering, also at the University of Washington. She also completed masters studies at the University of Washington in Museology. She expressed artistry, creativity, and humor in so many ways. She loved animals: particularly her beloved cats -- Elliot, who was delivered to her doorstep by a family of raccoons, and Baxter whom she rescued from the freeway. She was an artist all her life and spent much of her working career as a custom picture framer. She recently had found a new calling as an accounting clerk and bookkeeper. She was a prize-winning baker, and used her baking skills to the great satisfaction of all on countless family holidays. She found humor in even the most challenging situations and joy and enthusiasm characterized almost everything she did. Survived by sisters, Margaret Lindeman Baldwin (Keith) and Barbara Lindeman-Orr (David), and numerous nieces, nephews, and a grand niece. Predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Jean Lindeman. Her family very much appreciates the love and dedication of the nurses and staff of Sunrise Haven. Contributions may be made to Sunrise Haven (Kent, Washington), Heifer International, or your favorite charity.
