Floyd Johnson Obituary

Floyd Leonard JOHNSON Floyd, age 79, peacefully passed away February 18, 2009, at Mira Vista Care Center in Mount Vernon, WA. He was born in Seattle, WA on March 25, 1929 to Martin and Emily Johnson. He graduated from Ballard High School and Southern California College, which now is Vanguard University. Later he became a designer & builder of homes, apartments, motels and mobile home parks. The last park was in Lynnwood, WA. In 1964 he became an Amway Distributor, on his way home from Honduras where he donated his time building several churches. He was Superintendent of a job at Pine Lake Highlands in Sammamish, WA, building homes and teaching several young men his trade. In 1975 he and his wife moved to Anacortes where he had built their home, and continued teaching his trade to other young men. He loved to fly his plane as well as boating of which he owned both. His last endeavor was to build a house boat named the Martin Andrew. He attended New Day Ministries in Seattle and Safe Harbor Foursquare Church, in Anacortes. He is survived by his wife Carol of the home; ister-in-law Eunice Miller and Brother-in law Clarence (CR) Miller of Sammamish, WA; Cousin Norman Trostad of Seattle, WA; also many Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service will be Saturday2/28/2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Chapel, Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 4100 Steilcoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98449
