Robert Lambert Obituary
Robert (Bert) Edmond Lambert was born on May 26, 1939 in Dillon, Montana. He passed away December 28, 2018. Bert graduated from Chehalis High School in 1957. After graduating from the University of Washington he served seven years in the US Navy. He retired after 25 years as a teacher with the Seattle School District. Bert was an accomplished athlete and loved to travel. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary, children, Lara (Thomas), Mike (Risami), Kadi (Brad), Kari (Craig) and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., January 12 at 2:00 pm at
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

We were high school classmates of Bert's. He was a wonderful person, always positive, always cheerful, a good student and a first string athlete in three sports. In his middle years he became fascinated with Russia, learned their language, and once traveled across Russia by bicycle and train to, he said, ``meet the people".

It was an honor to know this kind and gentle man during this past year. I will miss seeing him each week at the Edmonds Senior Center and sharing stories of our military experience many years ago in a remote region of Turkey.
