Dear Bowne,
My name is Carole and I was a good friend of Carrie's. I remember Christopher especially in how he was a great storyteller and he loved to tell jokes and laugh. Also, on what a good job he did at Carries service speaking about her and how he stood up there and talked. I'm thinking of all of you and Gus,Melanie Kylie and Taylor.

Dear Roberta, David and Ronald,

I am so very sad to hear of your loss. Roberta, our paths crossed over the summer after not seeing each other for over 30 years. You were so animated and proud when you spoke so fondly of both boys and their many accomplishments. I could tell that family was still number one with you. It's very clear that Christopher felt the same way. No doubt he spread love, humor, friendship and the importance of family with all of the fortunate people who shared his life. My family and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you. Love, Elaine Posey (Sako)

Dear Bowne Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. No words can express how much Chris will be missed. I will forever remember his wonderful contagious laugh! Take comfort in each other, family and friends, and treasure the wonderful memories you share with him. We love you all. I found this poem reassuring.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Love, Gus (cousin), Melanie, Kylie & Taylor Monson
