Julie Anne Keeney

Julie Anne Keeney, Age 64, loving wife of Merle Keeney, and wonderful mother of Nate and Grant Keeney, died from cancer on June 5th, 2013. Julie was raised in Oregon City, OR, and then lived throughout the U.S. as her husband served in the Navy and as a business executive. Finally, a resident of Bellevue for the past 22 years, she worked for the Bellevue School District for 19 years. At the International School and Interlake High School she treasured her time with the kids and was always involved with the theater. She loved her family and was a friend to everyone. She is survived by her husband Merle, sons Nate (Debbie) and Grant (Julie), two sisters Molly Bloom (Bob) and Nancy McDonald, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents (Edward and Dolora McDonald) and brother (Terry McDonald). A memorial service will be held at South Bellevue Community Center, 14509 SE Newport Way, Bellevue, WA at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bellevue Youth Theater Foundation at www.bytfoundation.org/. Please write her name under Order Notes during checkout.
