Paula Keeney Obituary

Paula Jean Keeney, 75, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on February 6, 2026, Paula was born in 1950 in Indiana to Frances and Dortha Maple, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up in Greentown, Indiana, where she built lifelong values centered on family, compassion, and service to others. Paula was the devoted wife of Kent Keeney and loving mother of Kyle (Grethel) Keeney, Kara (Shannon) Ditzler, Kay Keeney, and Kurt ( Melissa) Keeney. She was the proud grandmother of Schylar, Shelby, Shaden, and Julia. She is survived by her brother Jim Maple and was preceded in death by her brother Pat Maple. Paula graduated with a bachelor's degree from Ball State University and dedicated her life to serving Jehovah. She found joy in gardening and sewing, and poured that same care into her family and faith. She was known for being loving, supportive, and compassionate - always there for those she loved. Friends and family remember her as incredibly sweet, with a gentle spirit. Paula had such a big heart and made everyone she met feel like family. She is deeply missed by all who knew her. Memorial service is 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3630 Sandpoint Rd, Fort Wayne, with visitation at 4 p.m.
