Virginia was a long time friend who I met when Virginia was a member of the Northwest Designer Craftsman and I had been doing some ceramics along with my sculpture. The ceramicists in the area were not huge in number in the early '60s so there was ample opportunity to gather at various occasions and personal times. Virginia, as a ceramist and sculptor was a particularly fine all around artist. At the times of the '60s Bellevue Fair, when we both had booths, we shared the experiences during that time. Virginia's skills as an artist were shared with her peers. Her intelligence, warmth and spirit were cherished by her friendship with myself and others. She was a good friend.
