I am shocked to hear that Steve passed away. Wilbur was a friend of my family and I can still remember the laughs we shared when I would stop by Harbold Gear! I started a small tool & Cutter grinding shop in Belmont with an old friend, Ed Urioste. The company name was D&E Cutter Grinding. My name is Dave Kropelnicki and again, I am terribly sorry for your loss.

Dear Harbold Family,
We were so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Our wish for you is that you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have with him. Fishing in Arnold is one of Mario's favorite memories with Steve.
With deepest sympathy,

Pops was awesome. We didn't have a strong bond when I was growing up, something he told me many times he was not happy about. But we became really close once I reached adulthood. This I am very grateful for. He has given me so many memories over the past 6 years, all of them good ones. I loved how open he was about anything and everything. Sure he had his opinions but he let you have yours too, and he wanted to hear about them. All of us Chase's love you so much!

Steve will be missed. If you told me that 30 years ago I would meet him and then his daughter and have him as one of the few adult male role models in my life I would tell you, your nuts. Well here we are. Steve I will miss you and I know your daughter's new future is scary and sad. You have the same word I gave you when I was fourteen, " I will love her and nurture her. It will be much harder now but a task I will shoulder for the next thirty years. I can still feel how comfortable Steve made me feel the first time I asked Lisa out on date. The only thing easier was when I asked if I could marry his only daughter. To all the Harbolds, on behalf of the Pitta family, our thoughts are with you at such an unceratin time but take comfort that lisa is in good hands.

Bob and I are so saddened to read of Steve's passing. We spent many a summer over the years in his company at Lake Pillsbury. When Wilber and Evelyn were married we enjoyed the extended family during the 17 or so years. We send our good memories and prayers to all of you at this time.

Dear Harbold family, We were saddened and surprised to read about Steve. Lately, for whatever reason, we have been thinking and talking about Steve and the family, and the good times we all had in the past. Stan, helped Bonnie's dad in Sea Scouts and Steve will always be remembered with his beautiful horse and awesome saddle. Bon and Steve laughed about that and other good times they had in their youth. Our boys always remember Steve (and John) helping them to learn how to water ski at the Pillsbury Resort. Bon and I always enjoyed it when Steve and his Golden Retriever came next door in Belmont to visit and talk about things in general. I used to see Steve at Crystal Springs Golf Course, but I left in 2002 and we lost contact. Evelyn sends her condolences and remembers Steve as being a good son-in-law. She is pushing 93 and still going strong! If you care to communicate with us, we would welcome your call. Although we have been away from you for so long, we will always consider you all as family! 6504839245. 1155 Shoreline Dr, SM 94404
